change, change, change. we all go through it. and now up to zero is going through it. due to economic reasons, we had to take down the webstore. sorry, we're back to mailorder and interpunk. we've also moved to long beach. we're still getting our mail in chino hills, so don't change your address books just yet. we're also putting a hold on signing new talent, as we can't afford to put out any new discs right now. we will still be promoting local shows throughout the year with really cool bands, like the ones you saw at friar tucks in march.(bad ass show kids!) so, yeah, we're kind of on hiatus from doing new things. we're down, but now out, so look forward to us doing new things in the years to come and hopefully we'll see you at a show sometime. don't be afraid to order our back catalog either; it's still great, rockin' stuff! see ya around!

hey, we're putting on a show for the first time in awhile. it's going to be at friar tucks in pomona. it's 21 and over, but free. show starts at 8:30 and there will be drink specials and whatnot. who's on the bill you ask? only your three favorite chino bands!!! hit the switch, last real deal, and up to zero's own twice defeated!!! there are also two bands opening for the chino crew: trial by fury from oxnard and strike twelve from temecula. it's a seriously punk night in pomona, so you need to come out. you can find more info at our myspace page or at twice defeated's page. hope to see you there!

so, it's been awhile since we've updated, but this one is worth it, because we have all sorts of info and goodies for you!
today, we filled up the website with tons of mp3's for you to listen to. almost every band profile has a new song up, and we added songs to each release listing info, so go check them all out.
news from the curfew. they are spending the summer playing shows and writing their next record. they are going to record the entire thing themselves, organically, as they say! they also now have a site up on trig.com, so go check that out too!
twice defeated has taken a short hiatus because of school reasons, but will be finishing up the writing for their debut album on up to zero in the fall, and look to record in early winter. they have a tentative title of, "i.e. manifesto". the t def also has new merch up in the up to zero webstore, so go support the boys and buy some swag! you get a free t def button for every up to zero order throughout the summer! and finally, the t def have also joined the trig army, so check out their site as well and trig away!
and finally, we are working on signing a new band this summer. we're being secretive about the whole thing because we adore them and don't want to jinx anything. keep your fingers crossed, you won't be disappointed!

cool news today. the curfew have finished with the recording and mixing of their debut full length. it is currently getting mastered. we are looking at a late may or june release. it's going to floor you!

we are currently switching our domain service, so you might not be able to find us using www.uptozero.com for a couple of days or so. the good news is, that once this is accomplished, we will be putting up a webstore where you can purchase all of up to zero's goods using a credit card or paypal, or whatever else you may have. we are excited about that! it will seriously speed up getting our stuff out to you guys. thanks for stopping by!

today is the day! catch the fallen's e.p., "without romance" is finally out! this disc rocks all sorts of hard and sweet!!! currently, you can only get this thing from us, through mailorder, or from the band themselves. pretty soon though, it will be up on the www.interpunk.com webstore and also in a couple of local record stores. thanks to everyone who helped get this disc out: catch the fallen, tomas, mike, norm, and all our friends and family. also, we have limited edition catch the fallen t-shirts available through mailorder, so get yours today.

catch the fallen's debut e.p., "without romance", is currently at the presses! the release date is officially march 13th, and they are playing their cd release show at the roxy in hollywood, ca on march 16th! we will be having a special preorder deal that will only be available through up to zero mailorder, so stay tuned for info on that hot deal! we should have details in the next day or two. catch the fallen also has a website in the works at www.catchthefallen.com and that will be up soon as well.
if you want to get your up to zero rock on, catch the fallen and twice defeated will be playing a show at kelly's in chino, ca on february 27th. the show starts at 9 and there is no cover, although it is 21 and over. so come out on a weekday and show some love to your favorite up to zero bands!

so, the other day, i got to hear the new catch the fallen e.p. and it is soooo amazing!!! they put so much work into it, and it shows. i can't wait to get it into everyone's hands. the disc is all mastered now, and we are working on artwork, so you should see "without romance" in about a month's time. until that time, you can go to catch the fallen's myspace page and hear one of the brand new tracks! here is the official tracklisting for the e.p.:

today, i am the bearer of bad news. the catch the fallen debut ep has been delayed until february. this is no good, i know, however, it is because they will be re-recording the disc with producer, tomas costanza at hollywood sound! this means the ep will rock even harder. so, dont' fret, it'll be worth the wait.
on a happy note, we have all new stickers coming in soon, with spiffy designs so you can represent your favorite up to zero bands! they'll be here soon. thanks for checkin' in.

hey you! yeah you! up to zero news here. the curfew is going into the studio in the second week of november to record their debut full length for up to zero. this disc is gonna rock socks off everywhere!
but now to the immediate future. as in, pretty soon immediate. catch the fallen have finished recording their debut ep, titled "without romance". all we have is some mastering work to do and some artwork to create and we'll have that hot disc in your hands in no time! you can hear some of the tracks at their myspace page now. here is the tracklisting for "without romance":

okay, here it is! a new website look for our newest band, catch the fallen!!!! everyone is going to love this rockin' band once they hear their debut 8 song e.p. that we are putting out. it will be coming out this fall and it's gonna rock you. catch the fallen is from the san gabriel valley and features former members of up to zero band, between lines. anyways, they are good friends of ours and we're proud to put out their e.p. go to their myspace page and show them some love!
the only other news we have is that twice defeated has a brand new website up at www.twicedefeated.com so go show them some love as well.

hi, we signed a new band. it's not really a secret, but we're keeping it unofficial until we can make a proper announcement on the website, which if you'll notice, is being revamped a bit. unfortunately, we had to cancel the threeway split. there were complications and it just didn't work out. we're still planning on working with hope soon, as we love them much. they recently bought all new gear, as everything they had was stolen this summer, so they are back on their feet. we love you guys. the curfew is almost ready to record their debut full length, and we can't wait. as for the newest member of the up to zero family, i'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll catch some of the rumors that have fallen upon the internet. the new site won't be much different, just a different size for those of you without huge monitors. thanks for your patience.

just a bit of an update on the curfew. they have finished writing for their debut full length on up to zero! unfortunately, tom sprained his wrist, so they are waiting until he is healed up to go in and record. go by their myspace page and show them some love! myspace.com/thecurfew33

it's finally done. an all new up to zero records website for an all new year! poke around and check things out. we've got some new bells and whistles, including a couple of mp3's for listening. if i did them right and they sound good, i'll be sure to put some more up. looking around, you'll find we have some new bands who have joined the up to zero family. first off, welcome the curfew to the family! they are from medina, ohio and are working on writing their very first full length for up to zero. our first release of the new year is a split threeway of technical punk called, "document the massacre for posterity". this split features phinius gage from brighton, england and hope from new brunswick, canada. we are still looking for one more band, so if you're interested, get in contact with us. phinius gage is the best unknown punk rock band in england these days, doing extensive recording and touring throughout europe, and their music kicks ass! so we're excited to be working with them and hopefully we'll see them stateside this year. hope is our favorite canadian band and good friends of ours. they were on our first release, "all that matters" and have a new record out on milk and cookies records, so check those out. at the end of the year, we will be releasing something from twice defeated, so look forward to that. we hope you like the new website and will continue to support up to zero records. also, go over to the reignition records website and pick up marathon's self-titled disc. it was the best release of '05 and we think it is essential listening. and if you haven't picked up our good friends over it's "silverstrand", you need to find yourself a copy of that as well. rock out
